The Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Illinois (RNHA of Illinois) released the following statement in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month:

“Illinois is home to a large and vibrant Hispanic community that stretches from our urban cities, down to our rural and farming neighborhoods. Hispanics continue to push boundaries in our great state of Illinois and can be found at every level of leadership. From government officials to the corporate boardroom.” Said Chairman Jesus Solorio. “We are honored to have the first Latina lieutenant governor in the country — Evelyn Sanguinetti. We are proud to join Hispanics across the state and around the nation in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.”
